Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Ok. I am SLOWLY but surely getting my project together. I would really appreciate anyone who chooses to share to post your answer on the blog. Obviously, some of us need more than a minute to answer this, and if you want to email your answer you can to ejanssen@att.net. This is fun, please don't take it too seriously. Dream big here!! This is my first stop on my "mother of all projects"! Thanks everyone!

Love to all,
Erin

  1. Laugh all you want but just make sure you laugh out loud :) After going through a process of dissolving crummy thoughts and really dreaming big this is what I came up with - The Wildly Improbable Goal:

It is July 2012 I am up early for running, yoga or pilates and breakfast and coffee with my family, I am wearing a sundress and boots and jewelry that I have designed – my family’s home is in California overlooking the ocean – I have a studio attached to the house that is used for coaching and designing skincare and accessories – it is also a place my clients hang out and put together their activity book that is called “what I get to do now that I’m all grown up” that I have published and copyrighted. I coach one on one – I have a handful of clients that pay me a yearly fee of 18,000+ for major overhauls that incorporate major shifts from corporate to creative or free up creative blocks– whether it is art, acting, music, etc. I also have an office a few blocks away that is a funky old house main floor with fire place, coffee area, and a distribution center in the back for shipments of my design work and coaching activity products - I ride my “black betty” bike to my office which I share with other like minded people – I surf with my kids a few times a week, have date night with my husband once a week, and throw dinner parties whenever I want – impromptu is the norm – my coaching practice overlaps with my design business because I have peers in the design industry, my husband’s advisor practice is interwoven (not sure what I am seeing here yet). My biggest endorsements so far are Lenny Kravitz, Pink, Dave Grohl, and Jack White. They also come to my dinner parties Date and time I wrote this 05-28-09, 12:04 p.m.

I put a time and date on it - it is official. Also, having done this it is very easy to stay on track in life - if someone tries to tell me I should be doing something I just ask myself "is this in line with my endgame?" If it isn't I don't do it.
